If you are interested in drugs & pharmacology, then Pharmacy is the best field for you. Pharma deals with drug dose, discovery, toxicity, multi drug resistance study. Job opportunities span across central and state government departments like the Health Protection Branch of the Department of Health and Welfare, the Pest Control Division of Agriculture, the Department of National Defence, Provincial Research Councils, and the Provincial Departments of Agriculture or the Environment. As a drug inspector or government analyst, a pharmacist is to make sure that the drugs manufactured and sold, are of standard quality. There is great demand in the food and cosmetic industries or within any other industry that requires the assurance that new products are as safe and effective as possible.  If you are a diploma or degree holder in Pharmacy, then you can set up and run your own pharmacy or chemists and druggists shop after registering with the State Pharmacy Council.
