Since you are pursuing B.Sc with Chemistry, it would be advisable to opt for M.Sc for the same (Chemistry). There are many job opportunities available in the government and private sector for candidates who have completed their Master's in Chemistry. M.Sc. Chemisty from IIT will also lead you to teaching profession in various reputed institutes as well as you have vast scope in research side.

You can get jobs with Chemical Industries, Pharmaceutical Industries such as Ranbaxy, Cipla, Glaxo etc. as quality controllers etc. in private sector. Professors if you have cleared NET. and if you are interested in research field, after M.Sc you are eligible for M.Tech from any of IIT in various fields of technology and sciences.

Or if you clear CSIR-UGC-JRF/ NET exam, you may do Ph.D. from any one of IITs, IISc., NCL, CDRI, TIFR or any other Indian University or can Join CSIR or DST funded projects.
