Military engineering refers to the practice of designing, building, maintaining and dismantling military works, including offensive, defensive and logistical structures, to shape the physical operating environment in war and Military Engineer Services (MES) is the largest government construction agency in India to provide engineering support to India's army, air force and navy, and the officers of MES are trained in a military engineering college.
