First of all, you need to understand the difference an MBA degree and a PGDM degree. MBA is a degree course, whereas PGDM is a diploma course. MBA degree is awarded by those institutes that are affiliated to any university, whereas PGDBM courses are offered by private B-Schools that are not affiliated to any University. So JBIMS, FMS and PUMBA are university departments of a particular university and follow a curriculum prescribed by that university and IIM, XLRI, IIFT, SP Jain, etc. are institutes that are not part of any university and hence offer PGDM degrees. 

Now back to your question. If you ask us, we will suggest you to go for a regular PGDM/ Diploma in Management or Executive MBA, which are typically 1 or 1.5 years courses. They hold regular classes, which mean you cannot work simultaneously. Why we suggest you this? Because, at the end of the day, a student who has pursued a regular MBA course will be preferred over someone who has done a part time/ distance learning/ correspondence MBA course. But that does not mean they have no value. If you pursue it from a reputable institute like Symbiosis, IMT- Ghaziabad etc., they have value in the job market. So even if you decide to do a time/ distance learning/ correspondence MBA course, make sure it is from a good place.

However, another option is to opt for Executive MBA (1 or 1.5 years regular MBA course), which is especially designed for working professionals, so that they can enhance their education as per market demand.
