Hi Prithviraj, There are a host of things that you can do after pursuing a course on hotel management, depending on the specialization.
Hotels - front office, housekeeping, food and beverage service and food production according to your skill, knowledge and interest. You can also make a career in ancillaries with food chains like KFC, Ruby Tuesday, Mc Donald's and Pizza Hut.
Airlines – air hostess, flight steward/ stewardess, ground staff, public relation officers.
Retail – work in PVR, malls, Back office jobs, as receptionist in corporate offices, hospitals and BPO industry.
Teaching – join the IHM’s or private colleges as an Asst. Lecturer (for starters) after 1 year experience and your academic performance. Later you can graduate to a lecturer. Entrepreneur – start your own venture (if you have the capital/ business strategy) or act as a consultant for building up hotels and restaurants or become a planner.
