Hi Rahul, B. Sc and B. Sc (h) are granted to under graduate students and are almost the same except for a few differences. In countries like Britain, India, Canada, Sri Lanka, Australia etc., B. Sc and B. Sc (h) are acknowledged. Generally, for a B. Sc (h) degree, one has to write a dissertation at the end of the course, which is not mandatory if you are pursuing a B. Sc general degree. The standard of the course offered under the B. Sc (h) degree is higher than that of a general B. Sc degree and is usually difficult to pass. B. Sc (h) degree considered superior to a B. Sc degree and a student with an honors degree will always be preferred over a B. Sc student.

In other words, the B. Sc (Hons) is a three years degree program which aims at developing advanced theoretical and research skills and provide a platform for an advanced professional or academic career. On the other hand, a Bachelor of Science (general) is a three year undergraduate academic degree which is basically designed to provide the students with foundation knowledge possible for a science based career and to equip them to engage in global issues. This program opens up a large range of career possibilities. Bachelor of Science graduates find employment opportunities in many areas like business, teaching, marketing, research, etc. Some other career options for a B. Sc degree holder are chemists, nurses, biologists, psychologists, teachers, lawyers, etc.
