Hi Sima, MBA is the new future of every industry. MBA graduates are offered great jobs and there is good scope for growth as well (with experience). It's hard to say whether private is better or government, because that is not how it works. There are two kinds of MBA colleges - one gives an MBA degree and the other, a PGDM degree. All universities like Amity, Sikkim Manipal University etc grant an MBA degree, while independent colleges like IIM, MICA, XLRI etc felicitate PGDM degrees at the end of the course. Usually, colleges with good reputation and placement facility are the sought after colleges.
Since you have not mentioned which field you want to take up in MBA (eg., HR, Finance, Marketing etc), we will not be able to exactly tell you how much salary you will draw at the end of your course. But on an average, MBA graduates (from a good college) get around 7 – 14 lakhs (depending upon the recruiting company, calibre of the student etc). As far as the credibility of Amity Buisness School is concerned, it is a good college. But we are not the authority to rate colleges, so will advise you to use the ‘
Compare Institutes’ tab/ facility and see for yourselves how good or bad the college is, depending on the courses offered, faculty, placements, fees etc.
