As you may already know, MAT exam is conducted 4 times in a year. Your MAT score is valid for the next season. Meaning, irrespective of whether you have taken your exam in September or December or February or May, most institutes will conduct the admission process only once a year – either in January or in May-June when the MBA admissions are on. So the advantage of taking the MAT exam is that you can take it multiple times in a year and use your best score for final admission.
