The choice of course depends on your interest and abilities. If you are interested in simple Bachelor’s degree then you can opt for Bachelor of Arts (B.A) but if you want to make your career in the field of law then you should opt for BA.LLB course.

B.A. LL.B. is the integrated double degree course combines Bachelors’ degree course in Arts together with the Bachelors’ degree course in law. The five-year degree programme provides a foundation in social sciences and humanities.

Eligibility for BA LLB five year programme: -

• You should have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks from any recognised board.

• Admission will be based on UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test (UL-SAT)/ Board Merit/Common Law Admission Test- CLAT Merit/ Law School Admission Test- LSAT Merit followed by Group Discussion & Interview.

There are plenty of opportunities in the government service and private industry. A fresh advocate begins as a junior assistant to an advocate, does file and research work, and assists his senior in the court. You can be appointed as Judges of various courts, as Attorney and Solicitor General, as Public Prosecutor and in Defense, Tax and Labour departments.
