Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) is a medical degree, awarded to those who have studied the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional ayurveda.

Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery create responsible Homoeopathic Practitioners socially aware of their duties with a vision to contribute to the science in the future.

Those who have not studied Sanskrit are also eligible for admission to BAMS Course. But certainly knowledge of Sanskrit would greatly help in understanding the deeper meaning implied intended and latent of the original authors of the textbooks like Charaka, Sushruta, Vagbhata, Nagarjuna etc. Knowing Sanskrit is not compulsory but it will be helpful.

Both are good courses. It totally depends on your interest that you are interested in Ayurveda and Homoeopathic.
