All you need to do is to get hold of the syllabus for MAT, what topics are covered in all the sections. The markets have enough books that cover all the topics. Get hold of them and start clearing your concepts. Nowadays you even get free sample tests online. Practice a few here.

Get together with a group of friends who are preparing/studying for MAT and other management schools' entrance exams. Clear your doubts and have group study sessions.

Start with clearing your fundamentals. School textbooks are the best bet when it comes to study material. After having mastered the basics, move on to other study materials which give you ample practice questions.

Work on your grammar, vocabulary, reading speed to get cracking in the Language Comprehension section. The Indian and Global Environment section should not be ignored. Keep yourself abreast of all current affairs and important events. Practice is the keyword here. Get hold of as many sample/mock MATs as possible. Find some mock tests here. Do not randomly take these tests. Take them under MAT simulated conditions, analyze your performance later and identify your weak points. Work on them. Repeat the procedure till your accuracy level reaches its peak. Practice is the key word here and is of utmost importance.
