COMEDK stands for "Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” and was formed by the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association and the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association in a bid to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admissions to the Member Institutions.

COMEDK is responsible for organising a Common Entrance Test for the academic year 2020-2018, for students aspiring to pursue under graduate courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges in Karnataka in member institutions of the Consortium (Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges).

COMEDK Medicine 2020 Eligibility Criteria

MBBS / BDS:

Students must have passed 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government with minimum 50% of marks taken together in PCB (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State). The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject.

Students must score minimum 50% marks (40 % in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in aggregate in PCB in Common Entrance Test of COMEDK UGET-2020

Age Limit:-

Students shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31^st December of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course.

COMEDK Medicine 2020 Application Details

The application forms for COMEDK UGET 2020 will be available on the online web portal of COMEDK in the second week of February 2020.

However, students will be required to first register themselves before filling up the application forms. The application form will be considered complete only after the registration, application form filling and application fee payment has been made.

The last date to submit the filled-in application forms is first week of April 2020.

Application fees detail

The application fee for candidates applying for medical/ dental course is INR 1200.

Candidates applying for both engineering and medical courses will have to pay an application fee of INR 1500.

The counseling schedule for college allocation to qualified students will be announced by COMEDK after the announcement of results. Students will be required to be present for the centralized counseling as per the schedule announced on the official web portal of COMEDK.
