Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) every year conducts IBPS RRB common written examination (CWE) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). IBPS is an autonomous body responsible for conducting the recruitment process, authorised by the government and participating organisations. IBPS RRB notifications 2020-18 have already been released by the authorities. IBPS RRB is third or four major exams conducted by IBPS for recruitment of employees in Participating banks. IBPS RRB CWE VI 2020 will be conducted between September and November 2020 application process for which started in July 2020.

To ensure that IBPS RRB 2020 application doesn’t get rejected, candidates should first carefully read the eligibility criteria. Apply for the exam only when you are sure that you meet IBPS RRB 2020 eligibility criteria to become a bank officer.
• For Officer Scale-I: Candidate‘s age should be between 18 to 30 years.
• For Officer Scale-II: Candidate’s age follows between 21 to 32 years.
• For Officer Scale-III: The minimum age limit is 21 years with the maximum limit of 40 years.
• For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Applicants should have completed 18 years and must not be more than 28 years of age.
• Indian citizenship is mandatory.
• Candidates who are citizens of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugees who have moved to India before January 1, 1962; and are immigrants of other nations with an Indian origin are eligible to apply.
• A person of India origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Zambia, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Vietnam with an intention to settle in India permanently
For Officer Scale-I:
• Candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. However, the preference will be given to those candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
• Knowledge of computer will be an added qualification.
• Proficiency in the local language as mentioned by the participating RRB
For Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer):
• Candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in graduation with any discipline from a recognised university. The preference will be given to those who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and
Accountancy:
• Along with the educational qualification, the candidate must have an experience of minimum two years as an officer in the bank or financial institution.
For Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers):
Information Technology Officer:
The applicant should have a degree in Electronics /Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Desirable:
• Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc will add value to your qualification.
• Candidate must have an experience of minimum one year in the same industry.
Chartered Accountant:
• The aspirant must be a Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
• Candidate must have an experience of minimum one year in the same industry.
Law Officer
• The applicant must have a degree in law or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university.
• Candidate should have an experience of minimum two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions.
Treasury Manager:
• The aspirant must be a Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or have an MBA degree in Finance from a recognised university.
• Minimum one-year experience is mandatory.
Marketing Officer:
• The applicant must have an MBA in Marketing degree from a recognised university.
• The candidate should also have a work experience of minimum one year.
Agricultural Officer:
• Aspirant should have a degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or equivalent with 50% marks from a recognized university.
• The applicant must have a minimum two years of work experience.
For Officer Scale-III:
• Candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in graduation with any discipline from a recognised university.
• The preference will be given to those who have a degree or diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy
• Candidate must have a work experience of minimum 5 years as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.

• Visit the official website of IBPS and click on the Home Page to open “CWE for RRBs” to apply for the post of your choice.
• After completing the basic details, upload your recent passport size photograph and signature.
• Once done with filling up details, make the payment of requisite fee and/or intimation charges via using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
IBPS RRB 2020 admit card for online pre-examination training have been released. Candidates can download their call letter by visiting the official website of IBPS. IBPS RRB 2020 admit card for Preliminary examination will be released soon. Candidates should keep an eye on the website to stay updated with all the latest events and updates.
IBPS RRB 2020 application will be accepted only after successful payment of non-refundable application fee. Applicants are allowed to pay IBPS RRB 2020 application fee only in online mode through net banking, debit/credit card or other online payment options valid. Staff candidates don't need to pay any examination fee or intimation charges to apply for IBPS RRB 2020 exam.

Candidates shortlisted in both Prelim and Main exam will be called for a Common Interview. The counselling process will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS.
Interview for Scale II candidates:
Those who applied for Scale II and Scale II positions will be called for the interview aft a single online examination.

IBPS RRB 2020 syllabus covers topics from English language, reasoning, quantitative aptitude and computer knowledge. Apart from these common subjects, there will be an additional section of professional knowledge for the Specialist Officer Grade-II.
There are various examination centres in 28 states and union territories where IBPS RRB 2020 exam will be organized. The final decision of selecting IBPS RRB 2020 exam centres will be of IBPS. It can anytime cancel or add new centres on the basis of the number of applications it receives. Candidates applying for the exam can mention the choice of examination center while filling the application form. However, the final decision of allotting the examination centre to the candidates will be of IBPS only. Based on the availability of space, it can allot centre at a different location than opted by the candidates.
