Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is one of the most prestigious business schools of India. It was set up in 1963 by the Government of India as an autonomous organization to professionalize the country's foreign trade management and increase exports. IIFT has two campuses, one in Delhi and other in Kolkata. The Institute has released the notification for conduct of IIFT 2018 MBA (IB) entrance test on July 25. As per this notification, IIFT will be opening a third campus in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh,

IIFT is dedicatedly involved in imparting International Business education. Courses offered at IIFT are as follow –

Two-year MBA (International Business), New Delhi, Kolkata, and Dar-es-Salaam
Three-year MBA (International Business) (Part-Time), New Delhi and Kolkata
Executive Masters in International Business, New Delhi
Certificate Programme in Export Management, New Delhi

These curriculum of these courses aims at developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country’s growing requirements for training personnel in the field of international management.

IIFT 2018 MBA (IB) entrance exam is scheduled to be held on November 26, 2020. This entrance test aims at analyzing the basic aptitude of the examinees and further shortlist the eligible ones for granting admission to IIFT, thereby molding them into International Business experts.

IIFT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for IIFT MBA (IB) entrance test must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The degree should be of minimum three years duration.
Final year students of graduation can also apply for IIFT 2018 exam. Such candidates will have to submit proof of requisite qualification by 7^th October 2018.
No age limit.

IIFT 2018 Application Details

Candidates who wish to appear for IIFT 2018 MBA entrance exam can apply now. The Institute has released the IIFT application form 2018. It is available in online mode only. This year, the provision to apply in offline mode has not been provided. The candidates can access the link given on this page to process their IIFT registration for MBA (IB) 2018 exam.

Before commencing with the IIFT form filling, the candidates must go through the eligibility norms and apply for the exam only after ensuring that they meet the same. The applicants must fill valid and correct details in the application form and submit the same before the due date. The last date to submit onlline IIFT 2018 application form is September 8, 2020.

Application fees detail

For IIFT MBA (IB) 2018 registration, the applicants will have to pay an application fee. The form submission process will not complete until this fee will be paid. Check the table below for details on IIFT application fee and its payment.

IIFT Admission Process for National Candidates

Based on the score obtained by candidates in IIFT MBA (IB) entrance exam 2018, the candidates will be shortlisted for further rounds of admission. 220 seats at Delhi campus and 140 seats at Kolkata campus will be filled based on IIFT 2018 score. Out of these, a percentage of seats are reserved for SC/ST and other reserved categories students as per Government of India norms.

Further rounds of admission for shortlisted candidates will include Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Essay Writing.
These selection rounds will be held at Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai in January/ February 2018.

IIFT Admission Process for Foreign Nationals/NRI Candidates/ Children of NRIs

These candidates can apply for admission at IIFT on the basis of their GMAT score only.
They will have to submit GMAT score along with the IIFT application form 2018 to the Institute latest by 31st March 2018.
NRI-sponsored candidates are not considered under this category.

IIFT 2018 Exam Syllabus

The syllabus to prepare for IIFT exam is not released officially by the Institute. However, on the basis of previous years question paper analysis, the IIFT syllabus 2018 can be devised. The gist of IIFT syllabus for all the 4 sections has been given below.

English Comprehension: This section will test the candidate's comprehension of and interpretative abilities in English as a language of business specifically in common forms of English expression, grammar and usage in business.
Logical Reasoning: This section would have questions on analytical reasoning, argument analysis and analysis of explanation questions.
Quantitative Analysis: This section will test the candidate’s understanding of Mathematics from the basics to Mensuration to Linear Algebra to Elementary differential calculus to Probability and Statistics.
General Knowledge & Awareness: This section will test the general awareness of the students based on current happenings.

IIFT 2018 Exam Centers

IIFT will make arrangement in 20 cities for conduct of IIFT MBA (IB) entrance test 2018. Various exam centres will be set up in each of the cities. Candidates will be granted an IIFT exam centre 2018 according to the choices filled by them in the application form. The name, address and othe details of the assigned test centre will be provided in the IIFT admit card 2018.
