Lovely Professional University (LPU) conducts a National Entrance and Scholarship Test i.e. LPUNEST which is required to take admission to B.Tech, B.Tech Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech - BT (Food Process Engineering), B.Tech (Hons.), B.Tech. Biotechnology (Hons.), Integrated B.Tech - M.Tech and Integrated B.Tech – MBA programmes offered by Lovely Professional University.

LPUNEST was started in 2009 and became one of the largest entrance tests in India just in 5 years with approximately 3 lakh students registering for the same in 2014.

LPUNEST 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

The applicant applying for LPUNEST 2020 must be an Indian.

Educational Qualification:

For B.Tech Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech (BT- Food Technology), B.Tech Biotechnology (Hons), Integrated B.Tech Biotechnology (BT)- MBA and Integrated B.Tech (BT- Food Technology)- MBA:

Candidate should secure minimum 60 percent marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English from a recognised board. Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology.

For B.Tech Chemical Engineering (CHE), B.Tech (CHE-Petroleum), Integrated B.Tech Chemical Engineering (CHE)- MBA and Integrated B.Tech (CHE- Petroleum)- MBA:

Applicant should secure minimum 60 percent marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths/ Biology/ Biotech from a recognised board.

For B.Tech (ME-Agriculture Engineering), and Integrated (ME-Agriculture Engineering)- MBA:

Candidate should secure at least 60 percent marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English or Agriculture from a recognised board.

LPUNEST 2020 Application Details

Candidate can apply for LPUNEST 2020 by visiting the official website of LPUNEST i.e. http://nest.lpu.in/.

Fill up the application form with required information. Login with your credentials and make payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking (through Online Mode).

For Offline payment (through Demand Draft), take a print out of filled in application form and enclose a demand draft for 500/- drawn in favour of Lovely Professional University Payable at Jalandhar.

Note: Write “Application for LPUNEST-2020”, Candidate’s Name and Mobile Number on the back side of the Demand Draft. Attach a recent passport size colour photograph and affix signature

LPUNEST 2020 Counselling/Interview

Shortlisted students can participate in online counselling and seat allocation from May 5, 2020, onwards. The seat will be allotted depending upon the score. The detailed procedure of seat allocation and admission counselling will be made available on university website i.e. www.lpu.in
