The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), which is commonly known as NCHMCT JEE and NCHM JEE. The exam is required for admission to its B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration programme, which is offered jointly with IGNOU. By successfully meeting the NCHMCT JEE 2018 cut-off percentage, the candidates will be able to get admission in any of 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT and one Public Sector Undertaking.

NCHMCT JEE exam is conducted in April month every year and NCHMCT JEE 2018 is also expected to be held in the same month.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with English (core/elective/functional) as one of the subjects from a recognised board.
• Students appearing for 10+2 can also sit for NCHM JEE 2018 on a provisional basis and are required to produce the proofs of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission
• Candidates who want to apply for NCHM JEE 2018 exam must have got passing marks in English subject in Class 12
• Upper age limit is 22 years as on August 1, 2018, for candidates from General and OBC category. There is will relaxation of 3 years for SC/ ST candidates making the upper age limit 25 years for them.
• Candidates applying for the exam need to submit their physical fitness certificate after getting it approved from a registered medical practitioner in the format given on the official website

NCHMCT JEE 2018 Application Details

Candidates can apply online for NCHM JEE 2018 by visiting the official website of the Council i.e. www.applyadmission.net/nchmjee2018.

Aspirants can also obtain the application form from the NCHMCT Office, Noida and send it to the “JEE Cell” National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, A-34, Sector 62, Noida-201309 via post/ speed post or by hand at NCHMCT, Noida.

Note: Make sure that the application form is not folded. The application form sent through the private courier service will not be accepted. The last date to receive application forms will be the second week of April 2018.

Application fees detail

NCHM JEE 2018 application fee for online and offline application mode is different. Candidates will be allowed to make fee payment both through online modes including Credit/ Debit card or net banking as well as through Demand Draft.

NCHM JEE 2018 Application Fee – Online Mode

• GEN or OBC Category Candidates – Rs. 800/-
• SC/ST/PD Category Candidates – Rs. 400/-

NCHM JEE 2018 Application Fee – Offline Mode

• GEN or OBC Category Candidates – Rs. 900/-.
• SC/ST/PD Category Candidates – Rs. 450/-.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 Counselling/Interview

The counselling will be based on the merit. There will be three rounds of counselling and the details of which will be available on the official website i.e. www.nchmcounselling.nic.in in the third week of May 2018.

Activities in Counselling:

• Checking of eligibility of applicants
• Verification of documents
• Deposit of counselling and first-semester fee
• Opportunity to choose the colleges available at the time of counselling as per the student’s AIR
• Aspirants can give as many choices of institutes as per their preferences
• No Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI) will be involved in the selection process
