Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common entrance exam which is required to take admission to undergraduate courses offered by the institutes under Symbiosis International University (SIU).

SET exam is the first step to get into the colleges constituted to Symbiosis International University (SIU). Furthermore, each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection procedure.

SET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

For B.A., / B.B.A. L.L.B.:

Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates) from a recognized boar. Students who have appeared for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results can also apply for SET entrance exam.

For BCA:

Aspirant should complete 10+2 in any stream or equivalent diploma in Engineering/ Technology with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC / ST category candidates).

For BBA:

Candidate should pass 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST students) from a recognized board or council.

Along with qualifying Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), BBA aspirants must clear Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT).

For B.Sc Medical Technology:

Aspirant must pass 12^th with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics OR equivalent in order to be eligible for the course.

Along with SET, candidate should also clear personal interview.

Work Experience: Applicants with work experience in any of the above specialisations will get admission to the 2^nd year of B.Sc Medical Technology program.

For Bachelor of Design:

Candidate should pass 10+2 in any discipline or 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% a approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% marks.

For B.A in Mass Communication:

Candidate should complete 10+2 or 10+3 (Diploma) in any discipline with minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) are eligible for SET exam.

For B.Sc Nursing:

Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized board.

For B.Sc Economics Honours:

Applicant should pass 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).

Along with qualifying Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), BBA aspirants must clear Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT).

For B.Tech:

Applicant should pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.

Candidate should obtain minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above mentioned subjects.

Students with JEE Mains scores are exempted from SET exam.

Steps to be followed for registration:

Click on “New Registrations”

Read all the instructions carefully and press “I Agree” button.

Fill all the required information mentioned on the display page.

Click on “Save and Continue” button to choose a password and then click on “Submit” button to register (The screen will now display your SET ID.)

You will receive an email containing your SET ID and password. You can continue to fill the remaining details. After completion, you click on “Save and Continue” button.

You will be redirected to Payment page.

You will have 5 modes to pay SET registration fee.

You can submit the SET exam fee through Credit / Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Indian Bank Net Banking/ Cash Payment (AXIS Bank or Indian Bank)/ Demand Draft (from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune).

Application fees detail

The registration fee for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2016 is Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable).
