SRM Common Admission Test, commonly known as SRMCAT exam is required to take admission to MBA program offered by the four campuses of SRM University namely Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Ramapuram part Vadapalani and NCR Campus, Delhi & SRM University Haryana.

SRMCAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for SRMCAT examination must have completed their graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised university.

Candidates with valid scores in GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET and CMAT are also eligible to apply.

Applicants appearing in the final year examination of their Bachelor’s degree can also apply for SRMCAT.

SRMCAT 2016 Application Details

Online Registrations:

Applicants need to visit the official website of SRM University and pay online with e-payment or Unique Voucher Code.

Offline Registrations:

Candidates should fill the OMR application form and send it to the university address by post.

Hall Ticket will be downloaded once the application form has been submitted on or before the last date of the application process.

Part I: Data Interpretation

• Data Interpretation will be based on text, graphs and tables.

Data Interpretation Based on Graphs: Graphs can be Column graphs, Bar Graphs, Line charts, Pie chart, Graphs representing Area, Venn Diagram, etc.

Part II: Quantitative

• Ratios and Proportion, Ratios, Percentages, In-equations, Algebra and Profit & Loss
• Averages, Percentages, Partnership & Time-speed-distance, Work and Time
• Probability, Permutations & Combinations

Part III: Reasoning

• Critical Reasoning, Visual Reasoning, Assumption – Premise – Conclusion, Assertion and Reasons, Statements and Assumptions, Identifying Valid Inferences, Identifying Strong Arguments and Weak Arguments, Statements and Conclusions, Cause and Effect, Identifying Probably True, Probably False, Definitely True, Definitely False Kind of Statement, Linear Arrangements, Matrix Arrangements.
• Puzzles, Syllogisms, Functions, Family Tree – Identifying Relationship among Group of People, Symbol Based Problems, Coding and Decoding, Sequencing, Identifying next Number in Series, Etc.

Part IV: English

• Comprehension of Passage
• Verbal Reasoning, Syllogisms, Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Jumbled Paragraphs with 4 or 5 Sentences.
• Sentence Correction, Sentence Completion, Sentence Correction, Odd Man out, Idioms, One Word Substitution, Different Usage of Same Word Etc.
