SNAP Stands for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test which is a Common Entrance Test for students seeking admission in Master of Business Administration (MBA) in institutes of Symbiosis International University (SIU). SNAP Test is mandatory for taking admission in all post graduate programmes in Symbiosis International University.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students:

You should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university for MBA programs
All other programs that require Bachelor's degree with specific subject specializations are mentioned in the particular institute's official websites

Eligibility Criteria for International Students:

You will be required to appear for an English proficiency test (IELTS / IELA)

From this year onwards, Symbiosis International University has simplified the whole process of registration. Now the registration process will be conducted under the guidance of Symbiosis International University for the academic year 2014-15

Earlier, students had to register for SNAP Test first and then register with the particular Symbiosis institute which s/he wants to apply in by paying separate registration fees. If shortlisted, then s/he has to attend the Group Exercise & Personal Interaction (GE&PI).

The New registration process:

You can register for all MBA programs at al the institutes under SIU together
You will need to pay less registration fees for multiple programs
You will need to attend a Single Personal Interaction & Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) for all MBA programs. These will be conducted in Pune, Noida and Bengaluru Campuses of SIU
You will be shortilisted for PI-WAT based on the SNAP Test Score + Academic Profile Score
Your Avademic Profile score will be calculated on the basis of your academic performance in 10th, 12th and graduation level
Now, you need not to appear for Group Exercise (GE) process
