Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) conducts State Entrance Examination i.e. UPSEE which is required to take admission to over 750 Govt.-Aided institutions and Private Unaided institutions the University and some other universities across 60 cities in Uttar Pradesh.
The dates for UPSEE 2020 have been declared and the exam will be held on 16th, 22nd and 23rd of April 2020. Around 1.4 lakhs engineering, 41000 MBA, 10700 bio-technology, 2390 MCA and 8800 Architecture seats are available for aspirants appearing for UPTU 2020 exam.

Candidates applying to B.Tech program must have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology or any Technical Vocational subjects at 10+2 level.
Applicant must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics OR Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Technical or Vocational subjects.
Candidates should have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. with any of these following subjects: Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Engineering Drawing / Technical Vocational subjects.
Applicant must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Bio-Technology/ Biology / Technical Vocational Subjects.
Candidates applying for BHMCT/ BFAD / BFA courses via UPSEE 2020 should have passed 10+2 with any discipline from a recognised board.
Applicants must have completed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST students). All the students who are eligible for B.Tech course are also eligible for B.Tech Agriculture Engineering.
Aspirants should complete qualifying examination from any institute located in Uttar Pradesh. If not, you must provide domicile certificate of your mother or father at the time of documents verification.
Aadhaar Card is now mandatory
From 2020 onwards, Aadhaar card will be a mandatory document for registration. Apart from this, candidates will also require 10th mark sheet, 12th marsheet, passport sized photograph and signature to register for UPSEE 2020.
Applicants must have completed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST students). All the students who are eligible for B.Tech course are also eligible for B.Tech Agriculture Engineering.

You can get offline application form free of cost from any designated Helpdesk. List of the Helpdesks is available on the official website of the university.
After filling up the application form, you are required to submit the form along with two copies of your passport size colour photograph.

After successful completion of UPSEE 2020, the applicants will be required to participate in the counselling procedure. The information for counselling process, schedule, documents verification etc will be notified on the official website of the university.
Upon participating in the counselling procedure, candidates will be called for the documents verification at the scheduled verification centre based on candidate’s State Rank (Combined General Rank). However, if the aspirant belongs to the reserved category, s/he will be given the advantage at the time of seat allotment.
Applicants will need to check the official website of the University for counselling letter as the letter will not be sent to you by post.
