Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is an annual pen-paper based MBA entrance exam conducted by XLRI School of Business & Human Resources on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) for various PG management courses.

 

XAT exam score is accepted by business schools that are associated with Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) or XLRI, Jamshedpur. At persent, there are about 100 institutes other than XLRI accepting XAT scores for admission to post graduate management programmes.

You need to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Final years’ students can also apply for the exam. However, they must complete their final examination by June 10, 2015.

Registration Procedure: -

You need to visit the official website of XAT to register yourself.

After submitting the required details and examination fee of Rs. 1000/-, you will receive a XAT ID and password on the Email ID you registered.

You need to re-login to your XAT account to fill up your educational details, test city and other requisite details.

There are three modes to make payment for the examination: -

Mode I: - Online Payment:

You can pay the fee online through VISA/Master Credit/Debit Cards/IDBI Net banking (Only for IDBI account holder).

Note: American Express Card is inadmissible

Mode II: - Cash Payment:

You may also make the payment by visiting nearest IDBI bank with a print out of the XAT Pay-In-Slip.

Mode III: - Demand Draft:

You can do payment through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" payable at Jamshedpur.
