Prof. Patra is an Assistant Professor of Law and Public Policy at IIM Bodh Gaya. Prior to joining IIM Bodh Gaya, he was working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Management, at St. Xavier University, Kolkata. He has a doctorate in Standard Essential Patents and Automotive Safety from Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur, a LLM in Business Law from Dr. B A Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and a BE in Electrical Engineering from VSSUT Burla, Sambalpur.

Prof. Patra has more than a decade of experience in providing legal interpretation and support, technology compliance, and IPR services including Patent Drafting, IPR Management Solutions, Patent Search and Analysis, Technology Research Solutions, and Business/Technology Intelligence Solutions to automotive and metal industries.

ATTENDANCE CRITERIA

Overall 75% attendance is a prerequisite for the successful completion of the IIM Bodh Gaya Corporate Law programme.

CERTIFICATION & ALUMNI STATUS

  • A “Certificate of Completion” will be issued to the participant who will fulfil all the criteria (Attendance & Evaluation) related to the completion of the course.
  • A “Certificate of Participation” will be issued to the participant who fails to fulfil the criteria (Attendance & Evaluation) related to the completion of the course.
  • Successful participants will also be accorded IIM Bodh Gaya Executive Alumni status.

  • Collection of all above fees, except for Executive Alumni fees, will be done by TEEL.
  • *GST as per prevailing rate is applicable & will be collected additionally from the candidate/participant. Current GST rate is 18%.
  • **Processing fee is ₹10,000, which includes ₹2,500 towards application fee, ₹2,400 towards bank charges and ₹5,100 towards the total course fees.
  • ***IIM BG Executive Alumni Fee (One-time registration fee and which is optional) of ₹5,000 + GST is to be paid by participants directly to IIM Bodh Gaya after successful completion of the Programme.
  • In case the Applicant’s profile is rejected by the Institute then the initial amount paid on registration shall be refunded subject to a deduction of ₹2,500 (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred only) by way of administrative charges.
