Pedagogy

Programme Delivery

  • Courses will be delivered through online mode using an appropriate technology synchronised platform for this digital transformation certification course. Lectures will be delivered through broadband technology involving two-way audio and video communication. Sessions will be held once in a week, generally on weekends. Participants can attend sessions directly from their desktop/laptop via Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode. Participants will be provided reading materials, etc., for each course. They may also interact with the concerned faculty through e-mails/chat mode.
  • Medium of instruction will be English.

Note: A laptop/desktop with a webcam and microphone is a must for attending exams.

Campus Immersion

  • There will be THREE days of on-campus immersion at IIM Indore.
  • One or two sessions from some of the courses will become part of the on-campus orientation module. The campus visit will be conducted subject to the evolving pandemic situation and will depend on government and institute regulations, advisories, and guidelines related to the pandemic. In case the campus module is not confirmed due to any reason, the same will be included in the total number of online sessions.

  • Working professionals with 5-10 years of experience, with a keen interest in applying technology to their workspace
  • Working professionals with 10+ years of experience who have evolved into their current roles but wish to be digitally updated and stay relevant with the times

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma (10+2+3) or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) or two-year Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognised university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks of all the years
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience* is required post completion of qualifying education
  • *Internships and Trainee Experiences will not be considered as full-time work experience.

Dr. Happy Paul

Prof. Saurabh Kumar is a Faculty in Information Systems area at IIM Indore. He has completed his FPM degree from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. Prior to joining IIM Indore, he was working as a faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur, India. He has also served as a Visiting Research Scholar at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business, Canada, for six months for conducting his thesis research work. Prior to his FPM degree, he has served in Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore.

He holds an engineering degree in computer science from SASTRA University, Tamil Nadu. He has various publications in reputed journals like Behaviour & Information Technology, Expert Systems with Applications, and so on. His research and teaching interests include business analytics, data mining, soft computing techniques, and privacy and security issues in Big Data.

Certificate and Assessment

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Performance of participants for this digital transformation certification will be monitored on a continuous evaluation basis through quizzes, assignments, tests, and examinations. The participant is required to score minimum marks/grades as decided by the Institute from time to time to complete this certification in digital transformation.

Attendance Criteria

  • Participants are expected to attend all sessions of this certification in digital transformation. However, participants may take leave on account of emergencies, subject to the approval of the Programme Coordinator. 75% minimum attendance requirement would be considered for the final grading. For less than 75% attendance, grade cut as per the norms will be applied. If the attendance is below 30%, the participant will not be eligible for awarding the Certificate.

Certification

  • Participants who successfully complete the prescribed course of study and fulfil all other academic requirements will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Completion’.
  • Participants who have attendance below 30% will not receive a certificate.
  • The participants who complete the programme successfully will be eligible for the Executive Education Alumni status* of IIM Indore.

*The participants will need to apply for the alumni status separately along with the necessary fee to register themselves.

  • Current alumni membership plans are as follows:
  • 2-year membership – ₹1,000 + Applicable Taxes
  • Lifetime membership – ₹10,000 + Applicable Taxes

  • *GST will be additional as applicable.
  • In case of participants paying fees via NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Cheque, DD will get a waiver of 1.5% (upto ₹₹4,400) on the Overall fees of ₹2,99,400. 
  • In case a participant profile is rejected by the Institute, ₹7,500 (Bank Charges of ₹4,400 only for applicable cases) is refunded to the participant and ₹2,500 of the application fee is non-refundable
  • All Fees are payable directly to Times Edutech and Events Limited (TEEL). 
  • Discount for MOU Partners and Bulk Nominations:  An organisation sponsoring five or more participants to this Programme will be entitled to a group discount of 10% only on the programme fee payable provided that at least five participants actually attend the programme.
  • This is with reference to the refund of the Processing Fees. Please note that the Processing Fee shall not be refunded in the following circumstances:
    1. In case candidate rejects the offer issued by the Institute; and
    2. In case the application is rejected due to submission of incomplete documents and/or providing incomplete information and/or eligibility criteria not fulfilled.
